 Center of material characterization (hereinafter refferred to as the “center”) is engaged in the detection of professional bodies,which though the Laboratiory Accreditation of the National Certification and Accreditation Administration Committee in 1991.The center is a detection of third-party certification services, which covers an area of 40 Mu and building area of 8,000 square meters. Equipment investment of the center is more than 30 million yuan (3.6million-dollar) and most of these advanced physical and chemical analysis equipment are from the United States, Japan,Germany, France, the Netherlands, Britain and other countries.is divided into four sectors: one institute for physics research ,one for structure and surface analysis, one part for component analysis and a function room.

Since the establishment of the center, who has provided the national scientific and technological research, standard-setting project , and access to a number of achievements in scientific research and technological progress awards. The staff of the center , who has engaged in the research of the physical indicators and analysis of the chemical composition (such as about semiconductor materials , metals and metal alloys , composites ,welding materials , cleaning materials , insulation materials oras , chemicals and other indicators ) and aslo engaged in toxic and harmful materials in the detection of controlled substances; non-ODS cleaning agent detection and cleaning process test; environmental testing (temperature impact, high temperature and humidity, salt spray, vibration, etc.); Failure Analysis (materials failure, welding failure, electronic components Failure, metal fracture failure, etc.); unknown material analysis; EC industry quality measurement; electronic information product quality supervision and spot checks; flight testing laboratories; professional testing technical support for many years , has accumulated rich experiences and a comprehensive analysis detection capabilities.
